The historical, permanent exhibit section of the Albuquerque Museum of History and Art, provides an excellent, compacted history of the area dating back to the ancient Anasazis. Pretty good presentation of the history of Albuquerque and occasional excellent traveling exhibits -- but, other than that, the Albuquerque Museum seems to be a typical small city space that features little known local artists and a mix of obscure wanna be avant garde pieces -- combined with a very good representation of New Mexico 20th century art ...
