    It's amazing how many visitors choose SFMOMA over the Legion, just because the former is downtown. Unless you really love making sense of very abstract, contemporary art -- skip SFMOMA and make the extra effort to come here instead!

  • Amazing view, fine exhibits

    The collection, mostly comprised of European art, was was impressive, but not really on par with museums in NYC and London.

    Even if you don't go iuto the museuem, I highly recommend visiting the Palace of the Legion of Honor just for the amazing views that you'll get of the Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and the Presidio.
