I used to be a tour guide of San Francisco myself in the early 90s. This was an amazing tour. 90% of it I didn't know. The Haight Ashbury of the late 60s was a rare event in human history when whats best in people in their values and actions became more important than consumerism and money.

Izu was a delight. Everyone in the group could not help but smile the whole time. Discussion was interesting, entertaining, and inspiring. Come with an open mind and a smile, this tour is a must see for the San Francisco experience.

IZU... What A Trip!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/07
Izu, what an amazing, kind person she is! There is no doubt that Izu has lived the life in the Haight, and definately makes for an amazing tour guide. She is very knowledgeable of the area as she has been living there since 1971 after first visiting in `67 the Summer of Love!! She personally knows alot of great people that were in that area in its ...

Unless you are a Dead Head do NOT go on this tour!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/07

Sights and sounds are unbeatable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/06

Izu ( Susan ) is vibrant and informational not only about music and locations but other historic landmarks as well. It is well worth the $15! Bring a jacket. I went in the summer and it was ...
Enjoyed the tour. Took our children along to experience the trek through one of the greatest times and places. Helped them see and understand what went on in the day. Now we have a couple of hippies on our hands. I guess it is a good thing.
