I enjoyed the ride to Alcatraz. The view of the area is impressive. Walking through the prison, one imagines what the famous outlaws who were imprisoned at this facility must have felt like. Truly a historic site that is a must to visit.

Alcatraz Island with its old prison in San Francisco Bay has a extensive & fascinating history with some of names of America's most famous law breakers. Your tour guides are extremely in formative & helpful. I recommend this attraction to all who visit the Bay area.

Very interesting trip. The Island held a mystery of what went on in this prison in the middle of the bay. More enjoyable in the winter due to less tourists.

I along with my wife to a Red Fleet ship around Alcatraz. I really had a good time. It was nice to see the city from a different perspective. The view from the ship was awesome. You just have to experience for yo self.

i liked this place cause it was an old famous prison of course!!! i think its best to visit when its in the beginnig of summer and near the end when the temperature is at its best.

What a great place for everyone, including kids, family or exotic, fun date...plenty of history and lore...packaged into a well-run, informative outing...just remember to bring a jacket.

the experience of actually going from room to room in a and seeing in detail what it was like to live in this jailis phenomenal. To actually think that some one escaped from this jail and got away is unthinkable.
