This place has a lot of history on it and the guides are very much informative. You will learn a lot from it and experience for a few hours how it felt like being locked in it.

The history behind the place. As you walked through the prison you get shivers down your spine as each room tells a tale from the past. Standing on the top as the bay breeze hits you is such a rush as you imagine how it must have felt like to be there with all those famous villans of that era. The whole expierence is to much for words. You just have to go there and see for yourself.

Simply amazing how this small island housed hundreds of convicts. There is an eire feeling there when I visited. I would go back and visit this island again.

There should be some place to stay for at least 24 hour. This will bring the thrill of staying in the prison. The food and bed should be served the way it is served in prison.

The audio tour really adds to the visit -- worth the add'l cost. It adds an understanding of what it was like to be there as a guard and as an inmate.
