As A former resident of SF. Ive allways loved this people watching place and loved the crab. This is a great family place to go! Best place to eat crab is only on what I call crab row. Also a loaf of bread from Boudin for home wont hurt either. I recomend going to China Town for the same souveners at a lower price.

Lots of Fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
I really felt apart of that city life. Just walking around looking at different shops, eating a hot dog from a vendor, watching a magic show in the middle of all the restaurants and shops! lots of fun. I would do it again, plus i found a candy shop there that sales pink popcorn, my favorite, and hard to find!!
Fishermans warf seems just like a tourist attraction, but if your a local that has not really seen the sights you have a lot to do. My fiance and I went to the warf to spend one of our dates last year and we had a lot of fun. We went exploring, from the wax museum to viewing the Golden gate through the coin machines! The prices of the souvenires are a little expensive aswell as the prices of the restaurants but it was worth every cent spent!
My family loves the outside and seafood we always get great claim chowder. Great crab meat. love the area the tours of the bay and riding the diner fairy love it love it

Greatest Place on Earth!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that; sums up Fisherman's Warf in San Francisco. If you're into people watching this is the place to be. Tourists from all around the world embark on this once in a lifetime experience. The food (everything from seafood to wings), the atmosphere (cable cars, tourists and baseball fans), the smells ...
Where else can you walk a half a mile and eat the best clam chowder soup out of a sourdough bowl, hang out with a few hundred sea lions and then get the best Ghirardelli chocolate for dessert, all a few blocks away from the birthplace of the Irish Coffee.
Lot's of of options to go. lot's of good restaurants & not too expensive. A very romantic place to go. Very nice place specially at night. nice wheather and lot of nice people too..
Fisherman's Wharf is a fun place to just walk around, shop and have some lunch and only a short walk to Giradelli Square. It's San Francisco's equivelent to Boston's Faneul Hall. Kathy
