there are restaurants, shops, always something going on. you can eat upscale or standing on the wharf eating crab. i usually take the ferry over from vallejo. if not there is parking. a little pricey. you can also take bart and then jump on a streetcar.
I very much enjoyed Fishermans' Warf. There was so much to see and do and eat! The shops were great and the restaraunts were awesome! I was in San Fran on business and when my family came to visit I made sure to take them there - then a few years later my husband and I went together.

Great place to be in at all times of the year. Christmas time is the best time with tall Christmas tree. Sea lions are cte. Parking is often a problem and be prepared for long walk.
i like the atmosphere.. its fun, theres alot of shops that you cant find anywhere else.. the food is great especially clam chowder.. its kinda crowded but i like crowded places like that.. and nice scenery too, ofcourse!

Dislike was that it was cold I liked that there were nice views all around.the people that would enjoy it would be people that like to fish when we went it was my sister,me and my dad.

Fisherman's Wharf is an awesome place to go whether you're a local or you're a tourist. There's always new and interesting things and people to see at Fisherman's Wharf. While you're walking, you can shop at a variety of different stores along both sides of the streets. They have great clam chowders and seafood restaurants. I go there at least once a year.
