Very informative and personalized tours. Lovely period furniture plus unique items I had never seen before such as how and why playing card decks differ from today's! The 'signing room' is a rare treasure - a must see.
This was a cute house done in the old style it would have been in many years ago. There are many historical artifacts to look at. Only have to pay a donation, so worth it if you have extra time.
The Octagon House is maintained by the Society of Colonial Dames. Though the House is from the 1800s, it is decorated as if it was a colonial house from the 1700s, which is interesting. They have all kinds of colonial artifacts and information. It's a lovely place to visit.
