We went to the Fisherman's Wharf location. The sourdough was of course, excellent. Two of us had clam chowder in a bread bowl, which was quite good. One of us was on a diet, and she had a bit of trouble finding something to order. Their bakery has tons of windows so you can watch, and even talk to, the bakers as they work, making it a fun place for kids.

You know, I've given this place several chances, but the host staff is unbelievably rude. You get the impression they don't want your business, which is a shame, because the view is good, and well who doesn't love a bread bowl? The gay day shift bartender was incredibly friendly and generous, so eat at the bar with him, and you won't be disappointed.
