Most crowded and unpleasant place for parties. The restaurant tried to squeeze in as many tables as possible for 2 separate weddings in the main hall. Servers and guests hardly had any room to move about. It was unsafe, in terms of fire hazards, and also by having servers holding hot food and heavy plates above your heads every couple minutes.

one of the best dim sum places in the East Bay. It's best if you know what you are ordering because there only one cart and the items on the cart are generally the stuff that is served at room temperature. Since you are ordering from the menu, everything is fresh which I prefer. You will need to wave down the waiter for things like water and extra soy sauce, but the view makes up for that.

We LOVE the food here, but we do know what to order. If you're lucky enough to get a table by the windows, the view is amazing as well. The wait is really long on Sunday mornings (early on Sat. mornings are a much better time to go). The service can be slow, but don't be afraid to flag down a passing waiter. A lunch date.

We were seated immediately and actually felt strange. No waiter waitress cam by to at least ask us if we wanted a drink, let alone a simple glass of water. VERY SLOW...

We waited for the dim sum cart for fifteen minutes, not much to choose from and so we decided to order from the simple menu.

Visited Aug 25, 2006.Food is not up to any know dinner standard and is also expensive. Paying for the view & location. Many much better chinese resturants in San Jose, Cupertino and SF. Would not recommend other going here for Dinner.

This restaurant is by far much better than many of the other dim sum places in SF Chinatown. Ordering by menu is only a problem if you don't know what to order, which is why it isn't a problem for die-hard Chinese dim sum fans. There are also carts with some things on them for the unsure. Try the stewed beef tripe and shrimp cheung fen. I found the service to be quick and no-nonsense, exactly as it should be.

The food is pretty good if you go for dinner or lunch although, they make ordering Dim Sum particularly tedious by not letting you see what you are ordering. You will end up paying more than you would like and not get particularly better service than in other higher end restaurants. The view to the bay is beautiful, but blinding about an hour or two before sunset.

We splurged and made a trip here for Dim Sum the day after Thanksgiving. The Dim Sum, unlike most traditional serving methods, needed to be specifically ordered rather than brought around on carts for us to pick and choose. We waited more than 20 minutes for our order to be served. The prices were also very expansive and the shui mai (dumplings) were overly steamed.
