My son and I were in San Francisco and wanted to try some place new. Delfina's was recommended and we are glad we listened.
Good food, nice selection of wines and the art makes the smallness of the restaurant go away. Cute and personal. We will go back to this special spot next time we are in San Francisco.

I saw the restaurant on yahoo travel so I decided to try it ... the food was delicious... but the service there was terrible, we were seated for 10+ min before someone came to serve us & pretty much no service afterwards ... host said tables are for reservation only but after I was seated, I noticed at least 2 parties got tables w/o reservation. TERRIBLE!

I just returned from eating at Delfina for the first time. I was prompted to travel to the Mission neighborhood by the excellent reviews. I grabbed the last table at about 7:00pm on this Friday night. The restaurant was busy and crowded, a bit noisy, and with excellent high energy. The service was excellent. My salad and pasta course were both full ...

I enjoyed my meal, but they seemed a bit too full of themselves. I found them rude over the phone when booking a reservation. There are lots of other great places to eat in the area, so the attitude and the wait are not worth it in my opinion.

Pretty average. Except for the service..... Yeah that was kinda good.

great food. good atmosphere. can be a long wait. Waitresses are down to earth and pretty cool. Parking can be hard. Try the panne cotta and pork chops.

Really good... also really, really busy! Delfina has an excellent menu with an interesting, ever-changing assortment of peculiar and tasty combinations. Cool place to take that out-of-town foodie who wants to try a special something with more of a local vibe.

I live in the neighborhood and for any traveler willing to venture to the area, it's absolutely worth it and one of the very best, more-affordable restaurants in The City.
