What a great restaurant!!! Had a great time tonight. This place has it all. The food is absolutly divine. The gardens at this place ranks amoung the best I have ever seen. It is also the cleanest restaurant in the area.OVERALL

Farlow's on the Water is by far the best restauraunt in the area. I had the pleasure to speak to the owner who then showed me the fresh seafood cooler. I could not believe the variety of whole fish that they bring in daily. They actually fillet most their fish from the whole fish, you can't beat that. We have eaten at this restaurant three times in the last few months. Jan-Feb 2009. My observations are as follows:
If you arrive before 5pm, you will not have to wait to eat.
When we arrived the hostess took her time seating us (party of 4).

Excellent!!!! One of the best places we have eaten. Went for lunch and had a very good selection. Our waitress, Jade was extreamly helpful, accomodating and knowledgable. Service was great!!!OVERALL

I visit family in Englewood a couple of times per year, and every time, I make sure that we get to Farlow's on the Water as often as possible. The service is awesome, and the food even better. My husband and I eat at Farlows regularly and LOVE it! It's our favorite place to eat in between Sarasota/Venice area and Ft. Myers! The restaurant has the most wonderful seafood (evidently, they get it in daily!) dishes that I've ever had, and my hubby loves their filet. We ate at Farlows on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Party of seven. Waited well over an hour, even though we had called ahead, and had one of our party already at the restaurant.
