The Back Porch is one of those places everyone should go to once.Good food. Great ambience & service. Love the beach front location as evening falls. Plan ahead, prepare to wait a bit and have a margarita. One drawback is some limited options for handicapped folks.

Overpriced for the quality of seafood received. Fried seafood platter did not taste freshly prepared. Atmosphere is a plus during the day with the view but you get the same view from your condo. If you are looking for great seafood at a reasonable price you better look elsewhere. We are still in search of such a place in Ft Walton/Destin.

The Back Porch in Destin, Florida is awesome. I loved the environment, and I the shrimp and virgin strawberry daquiri was good too. However, the fries weren't the best and neither was the whip cream on my strawberry daquiri (it was chunky and it didn't have much flavor to it). But we did get a beachfront table, and overall it's a good place to eat if you're going to Destin.

We are from Arkansas and have been to the "Back Porch" on every visit to Florida. The food, service and atmosphere is simply GREAT! Recommend to everyone who visits the area. Helpful hint, because the restaurant is so good they are extremely busy on weekends, so if possible dine on a weekday, less busy equals faster service and shorter wait. Either way this place is worth the wait!

The food and service was great. I got the amberjack sandwich and it was very good. It was also more affordable that I thought.

terrible. This place is for booze not food. its for tourist. The place is filthy. Mold all over the walls and tables. My pants are stained from the chair. floor is sticky. the food is super bland. 100% sysco truck food. Servers have no personality. just go here to get drunk on beer. the pre mixed drinks are bad. tarter sauce is 50% corn syrup as the ketup too. We will never go back. I am sorry. Destin has lots of other seafood places.
