This is the first time I tried this drive in while driving back from Leavenworth. Awesome halibut and chips. Generous size and best fries in the valley. I'll go there every time I pass by that place.

I remember going to this place back in the late 60's. We had recreation property near Lake Wenatchee. When we went Highway 2 we always stopped for dinner at this place before we went to our property. The gentlemen would always have ice cream for our dog. I recently went to the Alpen Drive In when I was on my way back from Wenatchee. The menue has not changed at all. I was really impressed and so was my fiance.

This place is awesome - best fries in the valley! The burgers are SO good and very large. Shakes are OUTSTANDING. Be prepared to shell out some bucks though, this place is pricey.
