Was going to Boxcar back when it was on Republic road. Still the best BBQ in town. Fast and hot BBQ. And while you wait. Talk football. You will be find out you just might have seen the gentle giant of a cook. Since moveing north we love makeing the run to grant street.OVERALL

Great food, if you know the general layout of Springfield it isn't too hard to find. The service wasn't great, but if you're in town and want some BBQ this is the place to go - get the ribsOVERALL

This place is the real deal. Real BBQ. The excellent meats need no sauce. And the sauce is great too. A tangy, mildly sweet sauce with a hint of cinnamon is my favorite. Good hot sauce too.
