The food was all prepackaged stuff from costco, and the coffee was like water. I could see the bottom of the cup. The waitstaff was slow and extremely rude

Except fot hte burgers, sadly, the North Slope has dropped in the quality of their food. The food is dry and bland. The service is still really great but the food quality has deteriorated

I love to go there for breakfast. The decor used to be totally Alaskan with Rams Bears, Horns etc. Now it's just like any non-corporate restaurant in the Lower 48. The breakfast and lunch food is good and the Sunday Brunch buffett is great. If you're in town don't miss it, but tell them you want the old decor BACK :)!!!

North Slope is a nice place to eat at a nice price. I especially like breakfast there and other meals are adequate. It is decorated in a rather Victorian style and has a fireplace. The North Slope is a great place with the best people, food and drink. It features a good friend of mine Matt Hammer. Matt does a jam session on Thursday nites. A solute to Matt you are the best.
