Casey's has been a favorite for over 10 years...stopped in during the Halloween 09 wknd for lunch and we were really disappointed. Service was okay, but the food quality was not anywhere near the excellent standards that Casey's has always been known for. Not really sure if we'll try again next time in Galveston. Too many other choices in town.

I have been coming to Galveston for close to 20 years and I have been eating at Casey's this whole time. We would eat there some times twice daily and would stay for a week and eat at Casey's at least once daily. We were there several months ago and I was so disappointed. Last year, we ordered our usual salads with our meals and they had ...

Dinner there last night was the worst in memory. Fish fajitas, and it was clear no-one there had any idea what fajitas were supposed to be: tortillas out of a Walmart bag (only flour), the waiter had never heard of pico de gallo, the fish was soggy rather than crisp, the guacamole frothy and served in a miniscule serving, the wine was barely ...

We went to Casey's for lunch on August 30th. We were seated quickly, there were only three other tables occupied in the restaurant. We waited over 6 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. The waitresses were standing over by the bar and cash register and we tried to catch their attention several times. When one finally did ...

Went to Casey's on a recommendation from the staff at Moody Gardens. Got there, waitperson is new and can't take the order right. Food came out an hour and a half later. I got the baked blackened shrimp, fish and shrimp plate. Tasted like it had been cooked for an hour and a half in grease.
My brother in law ordered a bottle beer. ...

20 mins before we even got a glass of water. Ordered grilled veggies - got waffle fries. Vegies came late, half cold half waved over the grill. No salt/pepper seasoning , nothing-- a joke!
Manager walking around bar goofing off. Wait staff very unprofessional. Non-existent dress code. Busboy stood around and wait staff cleaned tables. ...

This is another Galveston restaurant that is filthy, overpriced, and not worth recommending. Will not ever return!

My husaband and I were not impressed at all. It wasn't awful but it wasn't good. For what it was it was a bit over priced and the atmosphere was nothing special at all. We like to try local places when we go on vacations and I would have been more content with a chain than this place.

I am so confused of all the good reviews this place got??? My husband and I went yesterday Feb. 7th 2009 and we were disgusted. Fresh Seafood??? The shrimp tasted fake. The fish was oily. Fried oysters were cool in the middle. The plate presentation was a joke, what's with the orangey stale piece of bread on the plate? It was also over ...

I have visited Galveston Island many times and now live here on the island. This has always been my favorite restaurant on the Island. The seafood is very fresh and delicious. The Fried Red Snapper is worth the visit alone. The staff has always been friendly as well. This cafe is closely located to hotels and accross the beach. Definatley vist Caseys and you will come back everytime!
