I went to A Taste of Thai for lunch today and I was impressed. The service was a little slow at times, but I thought the food was good and reasonably priced. I had the chicken pad thai and I think it was only $7.50 for lunch. It came with salad or soup and I had the soup. It was a vegetable soup, pretty basic but tasty. Chicken pad thai was ...

I've been here twice. First for pad thai, which came out a lumpy unbalanced mess. OK, this isn't san francisco, but even chains like pei wei absolutely beat the pants off this place.

B/c of its 'best in NWA' rep I gave it another shot: pad see ew, again a lump of overcooked noodles with none of the carmelized wonderfulness of the real thing.

Will not try again. Probably IS the best in NWA though.

Best Thai in Fayetteville and probably NWA, the crowds will attest to it's alure. Pad Thai is good, and if you want something different try the Rumat Puk with chicken, really good. Dining room is a little small, but the service is good, family owned and operated.

  • Best thai restaurant in NW Arkansas!
    By Michelle, 10/26/06
I have been going to this restaraunt at least once a week for the past two years, and it is amazing. I have yet to have a bad experience, the food is excellent, the service wonderful. I really can't say enough about this place. Try the cashew nut chicken, spring rolls, thai tea, and mango with sticky rice! Also, GREAT place to go for lunch, cheaper prices with comparable quantity.

A Taste of Thai has a great atmosphere. Limited selection on the menu, but all you need is a plate Pad Thai.

  • Really good thai food
    By Stacy, 10/04/05
Their soup is very good... looks like clear broth with some veggies, but it has a ton of flavor! I have yet to have anthing bad to eat there. Order your food 1-5 stars, or thai hot! The worst part about eating here is trying to find a parking space, as it is right off the square.
