Today myself along with family and friends we went there and the food was terrible not just overly priced but the steak was bland and chard the shrimp was rubber and the waiter took his sweet time to get us any refills.... I guess you pay all that money just for the location.... save your money people.
I give it a 1 start just because the bartender made good drinks.

a friend of mine told me about this place so i went in on saturday,was i ever disappointed!!!! the server didn't even get to us for 10min after we were seated. the food was ok but geeeeesss
over price galor. They need to step it up or charge less.
will never see me in this place again.

WE VISITED ALOHA STEAK HOUSE ON 6/7/08 WE HAD LOBSTER AND PRIME RIB. THE LOBSTER WAS TERRIBLE (RUBBER) AT $55.00 AND THE PRIME RIB WAS SOMETHING TO FORGET. WE EVEN TRIED THE CHEESECAKE. HOW CAN YOU MESS UP CHEESECAKE. I WOULD SAY GO TO MCDONALDS AND GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Another over-rated steakhouse, over priced too I might add. The service was good, but the food was average at best, and I really wanted to like it here, we won't be going back, there really is no reason or anything that will draw us back.

Go here every year for our anniversary and love it! Best food in Ventura!

great food. great location. that pretty much sums it up. kind of expensive, so if you're on a budget, go eat dinner somewhere else and go in for the lava cake. delicious!

I was a fan of the restaurants back when they were the Charthouse. I was saddened and hurt when it closed because of all the personal special events that I had there. The new place doesnt have that very special ambiance, but does have character and the warm heartedness that the old Charthouse did.
The food is outstanding and is not cluttered ...

We were really bummed when our former favorite Ventura restaurant, the Charthouse, became a Joe's Crabshack. But nevermind, Aloha has great food with an even better view. Best place in Ventura, hands down.
