I stayed at this Marriott because I had a family member undergoing surgery at the nearby Longwoods Medical Center. I was there for 5 nights.
The staff was efficient, helpful and polite. The hotel even runs a free shuttle van to the Medical Center on demand during reasonable hours.

location to boston city, boston college, lots of stores and restaurants in area. on site parking - have stayed at this hotel without my husband and felt perfectly safe.

Also, coffee service in the morning downstairs in lobby.

I parked in their garage for about 15 minutes & ran next door to the nursing home & back & the desk girl charged me $8.00. When I asked to see a manager to clarify policy she became extremely rude- I am currently trying to get a response/resolution from management & will update when/if that occurs. Overall courtesy is probably a barometer of general hospitality, if so AVOID this place!

I so enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The front desk personnel was a pure delight. I was totally impressed with the speed of check-in and check-out.
