The a/c in the first room we tried didn't work and with 109 deg weather it just wasn't an acceptable problem - the second room's a/c worked but the room smelled like urine, the third room and fourth room a/c didn't work as well as it should and the rooms had a bad smell. We booked our trip as a package deal and couldn't cancel ...

The hotel was pretty good. The only complaint that I have is the slightly loud A/C unit in the room. Other than that, the bed was great. The restrooms were amply supplied.

If you are a gold member, you get free breakfast.

There is a costco near by and other eating areas.

This was my first time staying in Bakersfield although I've been here before. The hotel location is very close to the main highways so it's easy to get anywhere in town. nice, quiet. no suites, though. continental breakfast not included. friendly staff and a really cool indoor swimming pool.

Great, friendly service, with one blemish: the lobby breakfast is excellent but the standards for what you get (continental, full, or ala carte) are not clear. And one of the food service workers was rude beyond belief.

The room was very nice. Pool was great! Kids loved it. It was open till 11:00, which was great when you don't get back to the hotel till 8:00 or so. The rate was good. The location was pretty close to my dad's house. I'll stay here again.

This is an incredible bargain for $89. King bed very comfortable, very quiet rooms, excellent dining room (very fresh vegetables & delicious salmon),friendly desk staff & room service, swimming pool and hot tub, modest aerobic equipment (no weights) and free internet-wireless or hardwired (that's at least a $13 value.) Easy on/off HWY 99

Staff was very friendly and always ready to when help when needed. Rooms were very clean, and bed very comfortable. Would stay again when in Bakersfield.
