EXCELLENT food, wonderful service, fun and entertaining. Waiting might be long but I found it to be worth it for their Crab Legs - YUM YUM!

Lot of hype but was very disappointed.
Yes, they do tell you about the long wait (2 hours for me), but the experience was not worth it. First, the host was ineffective and you had to go talk to him after 2 hours to get seated. There did not seem to be any system for seating.

Okay. I have to say that Joe's is the very BEST crab I've ever had! Yes, the wait was close to 2 hours. But so what! When you go to a superb restaurant where everybody else wants to go, you have to accept that there is going to be a wait. We went to the bar and the bartender was very personable and even created a "special" ...

This place was absolutely the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. It was noisy, crowded, and the wait was supposed to be two hours. You could not even reach the bar to get a drink, and if you were lucky enough to get a drink,you would not be able to hear your name called. You had to stand up the whole time, sardined into the crowd ...

A great dining experience. Hate the wait but the stone crabs, hash browns and key lime pie were worth it...

Joe's Stone Crab is the best restaurant I've been to. Service is great and so is the food. This place is notorious for long waits but that's something I've never experienced there. Each time I've dined there I was seated immediately, perhaps its just coincidence though. Joe's is expensive but worth it.

I love the restaurant and everything but you should not expect to walk out everytime with a bill for $20 for 2 people.
The menu is a la carte so often if you want vegetable you have to order them.
The food is elegant and the atmosphere is as well. I have gone with my sister and parents when I was younger and the bill usually hit about $100. The food is worth it but I think better kept for a special occasion.

A Miami Beach institution...be prepared to wait...try it for lunch to avoid the crowd...Joe's invented stone crabs...the grilled tomatoes are to die for!
