This place was absolutely the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. It was noisy, crowded, and the wait was supposed to be two hours. You could not even reach the bar to get a drink, and if you were lucky enough to get a drink,you would not be able to hear your name called. You had to stand up the whole time, sardined into the crowd ...

A great dining experience. Hate the wait but the stone crabs, hash browns and key lime pie were worth it...

Joe's Stone Crab is the best restaurant I've been to. Service is great and so is the food. This place is notorious for long waits but that's something I've never experienced there. Each time I've dined there I was seated immediately, perhaps its just coincidence though. Joe's is expensive but worth it.

I love the restaurant and everything but you should not expect to walk out everytime with a bill for $20 for 2 people.
The menu is a la carte so often if you want vegetable you have to order them.
The food is elegant and the atmosphere is as well. I have gone with my sister and parents when I was younger and the bill usually hit about $100. The food is worth it but I think better kept for a special occasion.

A Miami Beach institution...be prepared to wait...try it for lunch to avoid the crowd...Joe's invented stone crabs...the grilled tomatoes are to die for!

Waits are very attentive and the food was worth every penny.
The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. Did not wait long and never felt hurried.
I would suggest valet for parking. Finding parking on the beach is not an easy task.

One of the best restaurants in South Beach. Loved the stone crabs and the service was fantastic! Got a great history lesson from one of the waiters (rookie of 25 years of service). Beautiful building and great atmosphere.

Joe's Stone Crabs is absolutely fantastic! The stone crabs and service are absolutely exceptional. A must visit when in Miami!!
