The burger itself it great. Servers are nice. This must be to make up for the incorrect orders. Not like the place was busy. Although I've been in there when there was a line out the door; this time the place was empty. Both times I've been there, they have messed up my order and given me the wrong burger, the wrong toppings or both. "Average" is a generous rating.

Long wait to get served. 1 order lost. Served the wrong sides. Meat average quality. Size steak average. Over rated overall. Not equal to chain steak houses like Out Back.

Ray’s has good steaks at very reasonable prices, but if you’re looking for a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience, you may want to look elsewhere. Other reviews provide ample feedback on the food (which is good…be sure to try the crab bisque if you decide to go), so I’ll just cover the elements that had a negative impact on my time at ...

This is about the fifth trip there and it's always great. The best steaks I've had, at any price. It's small and hard to get a table but worth the wait. Don't change a thing! See you next time I'm in town.

It's a shame; the quality of the meat is superb. The prices are the best locally for a Steak House of this quality. With sides included it is even a bigger value.... Sadly, management is rude and the location in Silver Spring is woefully under staffed. Those staff members that were on the floor are way under trained and over worked. On a ...
If you don't mind waiting for a good thing then this is it. I've been to them all and this place is #1. Good wine list too. If I want a good steak I'll either come here or make it myself. Why mess with perfection?

If you are visiting DC and want a treat, go off the beaten track to visit Rays. A neighborhood restaurant that serves steaks on par with the fancy schmancy places at a much better price. The service is top notch. They don't take reservations, but will serve you a glass of wine or two while you wait for a table to open. You will not regret one moment.
The Hanger is the best steak I have had in North America. The free sides of mashed potato and spinach are excellent. The free bread to start was foccacia style and also very good. The ambiance was basic, white walls with little decoration, moderately noisy, moderately crowded. Service pretty good, sometimes variable.

There is nothing about this place I do not like. It's like getting 4 or 5 star food in a comfortable and casual environment. The service is excellent and the food goes way beyond the call of good. The one thing about this steakhouse that beats any other steakhouse I have been to (And I have been to just about all of them), is if you ...
