Not a casual dining experience, but extremely delicious and wonderful food. I loved ordering the tasting menu paired with wines! It was very extravegant and luxurious, but not at all too filling or ill prepared. The service there is very gratious and attentive. A+!

We were required to arrive at 5:30 for our reservation, even though by seven thirty a glance around the dining room showed low occupancy. Server seemed more interested in having us hear his presentation rather than accomodate our immediate needs. Newly conceived menu was disappointing to us, and making a choice became the "most ...

As a pre-show dinner treat, the four of us dined yesterday on the risotto, petrale, striped bass w/clam chowder and rib eye steak and had the three tropical ices and the citrus ice with pavlova for dessert. The risotto with mushrooms were good. The striped bass was also good but the "clam chowder" was just a tablespoon or so of broth ...

All you need to know is that this place has average food for spectacular prices. The duck confit salad was great, but the rest of the appetizers, entrees and desserts that my friends and me had were ok at best. Fatty, chewy short ribs - blech. But the kicker - a $50 steak that was a 1/2 notch better than what I grill at home. Egregious - they have a lot of nerve to have that on the menu.
Once popular dinning spot, has seen it's day. The service is bad and the food is uninspired and ordinary

Premium restaurant for great food / wine parings
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/05
Across from the Opera House, the trick to getting a table is to try and get a reservation so that you can get in on a space vacated by an opera/symphony goer.
The food and wine are awesome, but in particular, the sommelieris fabulous. They have a great selection of wine, pour a wide variety of great wines by the glass, and are more than happy ...
