BEST place for breakfast in Minneapolis. Some kinks in the beginning opening up their new location, but totally worked out as far as I'm concerned. I was seated in some little side table by the kitchen, and once I read the painted wall above us we found out we get a free carmel pecan roll just for sitting in the "cheap seats". The whole thing was great, and the roll was just as delicious as it was at the old place

  • Best breakfast in town, but you need to make a reservation on the weekends! Definitely the best pancakes and I can't eat enough of the homemade peanut butter. GO HERE! You won't regret it.

  • Service from heck

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Food was good, but the waitstaff was too busy striking poses to bestir themselves much about waiting tables. We were immediately tagged as tourists and therefore apparently didn't matter. Not a do-over for us.

  • Great little place...

The food is great. Prices are rather high for the small portions (compared to other places) but the homemade ketchup, jams and peanut butter make up for it! Great for breakfast, less crowded on weekdays. If you go on the weekend, be prepared for a wait.

  • Try the lemon Riocotta hotcakes!
    By Brett G, 07/16/06
The lemon riocotta hotcakes were the best hotcakes I've ever had. Make sure that someone in your party orders these! Our waitress recommended not even using syrup w/ them and she was right on. (Did I say how great they were?)

One note of caution is that reservations are a really good idea, at least for Sunday morning. The wait for those ...

Love the food, the folks are really nice but the place can be packed which creates delays no matter how you look at it. They don't have a big waiting area if you come in a group but the food is amazing.

I loved this place. The best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. It's a nice little restaurant that could be mistaken for a hole in the wall, but you know what? Most of the best restaurants seem to be holes in the walls. That's exactly why you shouldn't judge books by their covers. Anyways, the service was great and the waitresses and ...
