I have been waiting for it to re-open so I can go back. It feels like going home because I feel so comfortable there. It is small and secluded. It is rustic and some folks don't like that, but I find it has the charms of Mexico. I really don't want marble floors and 2000 room resorts with 8 pools, etc. I want the May Tankah back again.

The staff is wonderful. The beach has some of the best snorkeling from the beach on the Yucatan. It is the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. I've been there twice and can't wait to go back. I heard a rumor that they remodeled in 2007-so I couldn't get back for my third trip there. I haven't found a place I enjoy more and the price is right.
