As tourists we were directed by a local to this place - specifically to try the halibut cheek burgers. It's cramped (we blocked the bathroom door), and yes, the service is slow. But the halibut cheek burgers were terrific, and the banana splits were identical to those we got at the drug store counter as kids. The crabs in the aquarium ...

Wonderful lunch place. Might take a while to get your food, but it's cooked to order (and it's GOOD!) and while you wait, look out over the docks of the pretty bay and docks. Watch the eagles fly, somedays more eagles than others. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly people and good food! With all the terrible food in Juneau, I was relieved to find this place!

Food is awesome. Each item has a special touch ... the sauce, the bun, etc. It takes a bit to get your food but it is well worth the wait! I started with a milkshake (to die for) and enjoyed the atmosphere in this quaint little hidden diamond.

The burgers are good and the shakes too but everything is way over priced and the service takes a really really long time. They are only open during the summers too. It's a really nice place though to sit outside on rare sunny summer days in Juneau overlooking the docs.
