I dined at Pepe's in late July of 2008. I ordered prime rib meal, my piece of prime rib was over an inch thick, I specified med. rare and it was done to perfection, it was accompanied by a salad and french fries with chips and salsa on the table when we arrived. The meal was priced at $12.95...a great value!

The food is overpriced (even for Barrow) and terrible. Go to Arctic Pizza or Osaka (great chicken teriyaki). Pepe's is owned by a very disturbed and unpleasant woman. My friend and I joined (legitimately!) the polar club last October and she refused to issue our certificates.OVERALL
