The food here is really fabulous, but the wait staff are bullies. Beware that the 'tip' is included in the bill - in case you didn't want to give one! Great food though!
If they cannot fry or microwave it, they do not have it on the menu. Not much imagination, only good thing is beer selection.

We ate an early dinner here and it was fabulous! Wonderful service, fabulous foods and desserts, and the prices are not over the top. They were able to accomodate our large group with no problems whatsoever. The beer battered prawn and the halibut were awesome!!!
We visited Phyllis's on July 6th and I felt that our waitress was extremely rude. We were using a Dining Dough coupon and upon presenting it to her we were told it was a scam and that they did not accept it and we should have showed it to her before we ordered. I contacted Dining Dough the next day and they gave me a certificate for another ...

MY FRIENDS AND I SAT AT A TABLE APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES BEFORE ANYONE AKNOWLEDGED US. FINALLY, AFTER MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH A WAITRESS, OUR ORDER WAS TAKEN. 45 MINUTES LATER THE WAITRESS TOLD US THAT WE WERE STILL THE 7TH TICKET TO BE TAKEN IN THE KITCHEN. AFTER ASKING TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER WHO IS ALSO THE OWNER, WE FINALLY GOT OUR ORDER WHICH WAS NOT CORRECT. THE MANAGER/OWNER DID NOT SPEAK TO US AT ALL. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE.

Great food, great value
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 12/11/05
The place doesn't look like much but the food and drink selection is superb. The special I had was 1.25 lbs. of snow and king crab legs for only $22 including soup, corn, rice, and bread. Everything was great! The manager has an eclectic selection of northwestern beers on tap and bottled as well as a good wine selection. The atmosphere is ...

Can't wait to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 10/03/05
My husband and I took a chance this restaurant and we were extremely impressed. The food was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. We recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood. With all you can east Snow Crab legs starting at 24.95 which includes soup or salad, a vegetable, potatoes or rice, and that crab, you can't go wrong.

King crab special was great
By jyerceg, 09/10/05
Despite what another reviewer said about this place, my friends and I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. The king crab special was $19.95 for a pound of king crab parts. Serious crab eaters like us appreciate the fact that parts are still the legs and meaty body at a great price. The side dishes plus the crab were huge portions. We were very happy with the meal. They had other dishes also reasonably priced (halibut, for example).

Do not eat here.

It's overpriced and the plastic shield around the dining area doesn't help the experience. Walk further down the street towards the water for the best Alaskan seafood with a better price.
