An exceptionally clean, well-managed property with immaculate rooms and grounds made our vacation days at the Meadowmere Resort a great experience. We would welcome an opportunity to return. We found this inn by chance and agree that it was by far the best of the several places that we stayed on our sojourn down the Maine coast.

A staff member stole my wallet. The management covered it up. The cops were no help. Stay in Maine but don't stay in this cow town.

WE loved it. We now go there every here. It is super close to trolley stop which will take you everywhere in town. We staying our first year in the main building and found our room to be very small. The newst year we were in the Country Square building and the room was super large and great for the price. Definitely the best hotel in Oqunquit.

While the hotel is beautiful it is definetly NOT for families of young children. We traveled with our kids (3 and 19mos) and their grandparents for a family reunion. My husband and I enjoy the Meadowmere, especially in the winter or early spring months, as it's a great escape from the cold and very relaxing and refreshing. The indoor Roman Spa is fantasic, the indoor pool is nice too. The little in-house free movie theater is a plus! Bring your own popcorn!

We were right outside the Roman Tub and the hotel is so safe I always allowed my kids to go wander the hotel and meet us back at the room for Lunch at the bar together.
