I'm a local, and this restaurant is NOT worth the money. Service is sometimes ok, but food is terrrible and overpriced. Try Galway Bay across the street, Irish Restaurant and Pub, fun atmosphere and much better food and service. Also try Emily's at the Casino (probably the best in Ocean Shores area), Alec's, and the Shilo.

Being a local, I've been to all the resturants in OS. To put it plain and simple, the Home Port has good salads but very disapointing entries. From the frozen fish, to the fat laden steaks, and paying seven dollars for seven little fried mushrooms. It's to bad that all it is is a overpriced tourest trap. If you want a good steak, go to Emilys at the casino, or the Shilo Inn.

Mediocre food, terrible service, terrible atmosphere....time to remodel, home port!

Poor food. Poor service. Don't eat at the Home Port. Try Alec's,
The bakery or great pizza at the Red Genie. Even the locals say to stay clear of the Home Port. More like eating at the Home Depot.

All categories very good for family dining. We had a very nice experience there.
