Hands down, favorite subs. I always get a half ham cosmo (heated). Yummy! So crusty, yet soft. Delicious meat, cheese, and veggies. Give 'em a try!

Good subs. I typically get the meat ball sub which is good. Hard to mess up a sub so it is hard not to get a 4 or 5 star rating. Are the subs as memorable as subs I have had in the Bronx or steak sandwiches from Philly, no. But this is Olympia and this place makes good honest food and compares favorably with the typical pedestrian fare in our fine little capital city.

Great veggie sandwich
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/06
It's twice the price of subway but 400 times better. The regular veggie sandwich on the menu has cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion (I believe) but you can add the "extras" which includes olives, pickles, and jalapenos. If you want your sandwich toasted, order it "cosmo".

The best egg salad sandwhich in Olympia.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/06
EGG SALAD baby! I cannot eat any other egg salad sandwhich anywhere else, not even in my own kitchen! I prefer the Lacey location with it's option to eat outside. The donwtown Olympia location has the same great sandwhiches, however the service is consistantly snobby and don't enter after lunch rush because there is no urgency to clean the tables off. Forget the service, eat the egg salad.

Original Sub Tradition
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/05
I'll eat at Subway, as it can be found anywhere in the US. But Meconis will outshine any sub-sandwich eatery with its tradition of home-town feel. Native to Olympia, it is a landmark for good food, great service, a fun environment and would do Italia proud.
