I LOVE this place! I have never had a bad time there. The service isn't bad and the food is AMAZING! My daughter and her boyfriend love it too. I would definitely recommend it to someone..
I am picky about the foods I eat but Sakura Japanese Steakhouse is one of the best places I've been to in Tacoma. Not only is it a great atmosphere for people of all ages (kids, young adults, adults), they serve great food. They serve different kinds of seafood and meat including but not limited to shrimp, scallops, oysters, steak, filet ...

The point of this resteraunt is to eat your food as it comes. Theres is no waiting for all of it. Nor is their people that speak fluent English. This place seems like more luck of the draw, but is no comparison to benhanans. "Unsure on spelling" Worth trying but is its own experience.!

Visited Sakura last night around 6:00pm; not crowded and plenty of parking. The food was fair other than the overcooked beansprouts, the service was indifferent to rude, the cook was just going through the motions and the whole dinner was rushed. The waitress didn't understand my question about tea, the bill was presented befor dessert, the ...

I went to this restaurant with my wife and another couple and was extremely disappointed in both the quality of the food and the service. Arriving at 8:30 PM, we found the establishment to be in an industrial section of town and were a little surprised to see a security guard in front of the entrance. It seems that this is a high-school favorite. ...

I can't believe people are giving positive reviews! This place is like a ghetto version of Benihana. No fried rice!! What a complete waste of time. Tacoma standards must be pretty low. Worst 40 dollars I have ever spent for dinner...

Overrated. Even though the food was fairly good the way the served the food wasn't. They grilled one item at a time and by the time u get your meat, your vegatables and rice is already cold. This was a huge distraction for me because I do not like my food cold..... All my friends that eat/ate there say the like this restaurant but they ...

We went to sakura last night, it was sooo good. The total bill for the 3 of us was $116 with a tip, we had 4 rounds of well drinks at $13 a round and the rest was the food. It was the tenderest (if that's a word) steak I have ever had. They start by giving you miso soup with fresh mushrooms floating in it and a salad then they start cooking a ...

FABULOUS!!!

Eventhough the location isn't great--the food more than makes up for it! If you don't have a huge appetite, go at lunch time. Lunch menu has the same great food, but pared down sizes and prices. My children love the food, and the excitment of onion volcanoes. My FAVORITE place to eat--it is ALL really great food, not a bad thing on the menu!
