Joe and I and 3 ladies went to JaK's in West Seattle for dinner on 5/27/08 to determine if their steaks were better than those at The Brooklyn in Seattle. The evaluation has been made. Joe considers the Filet Mignon at JaK's in West Seattle to be better than that at The Brooklyn. After 15 minutes of reducing the size of his 15 ounce ...
I used to eat my steak well done, but Jak's has shown me the light. Now I just ask for medium, and let the chef decide how when it's right. And the chef is always right. WOW!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/06
This is an amazing steakhouse! My boyfriend and I recently went there (early: we heard how long the waiting list can be on weekends) and the steaks were simply divine. Grilled perfectly to our order and seasoned just so. The house salad that came with it was another story. It was plate full of chopped iceberg lettuce and some dressing on top. No ...
Big fat steaks and lots of stairs; we love Jak's. As good as the food is though, we return over and over again for the service. Witty, knowledgeable and (in at least one case) incredibly gorgeous. Well done.

The Best Steaks in Seattle without a doubt!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/05
Every good occasion to have steak takes us to Jak's. The steaks have the best value and flavor. The Metropolitan Grill and Daniel's Broiler have great steaks, but Jak's serves up all the side dishes that the competition charges extra for for a lot less money. The herb butter they place on the steaks makes them perfect. Don't hesitate to try Jak's - I always recommend it!!!
Jaks has the environment, the service and great food to make it one of the best places in town for a great steak. Whenever you enter Jaks the staff and comfortable lighting makes you feel at home. Jaks has great steaks and wonderful seafood. The only thing that Jaks is lacking is the ability to make reservations.

Dry aged is the best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Jax is a friendly comfortable resturant with the best dry aged steaks I ever tasted. A bit pricy but worth it. Jax's is a caual dining experience with less than casual taste.
This steak house is off the beaten path but evey bit as good as the other "big" names in Seattle. The meats are fabulous and the portions are generous. Great flavor and seasonings on my Filet. Will definitely go back.
