area looks a little rough but i didnt have any problems. secure indoor parking was a plus. Staff is nice, offered maps and helped with direction. 3 block walk to subway and about 15 train ride to manhatten. The breakfast is on the the best free hotel ones ive had, large selection. the rooms are also very classy and up to date. for the price, location and value its a perfect stay.

Couldn't have been happier with my stay here! Felt like I had a great little secret just minutes from all the action in Manhattan. The rooms are spacious compared to hotels in Manhattan. It was about a $8 cab ride from the upper east side. Rooms are clean and rate was much cheaper than Manhattan hotels. My only dislike was there are very few restaurants around the hotel.

The service was great and the rooms were very comfortable. We loved the in room jacuzzi/whirlpools. It was definitely worth the money. It's close to a few train stations which leaves you just a few minutes away from the city.
