The service was horrible and the food was horrible. We got the wrong order of the fried rice and the staff didnt even bother to replace the item or modify the food to suit to what was ordered before. There are better thai places in Bellevue and this restaurant can be easily given a miss.

I think this Thai restaurant is one of the best thai restaurants I have been in. i have dined in Houston, San Francisco , Thailand and here. It is excellent. The mango salad was great ad so was the currry fried rice and all the other items we ordered. I was ready to go back the next day. instead, I waited one day and agian it was excellent!
I have been to this restaurant few times. I liked the food all the time except once when I ordered the catfish dish. I liked the slamon dish that comes with special sauce a lot - I have tried it 3 times so far. I went there twice for lunch and had the lunch specials. The portions in the lunch special is a lot and price is not much. The service could be better but it was not bad.

Awful Service and bad food-- cause Diarehea
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/05/07
Most of the waiter is rude. The food was not as good as other Thai restaurant. The price is pricier than other Thai and smaller portion. The food is considered dirty because after that we all have diarehea the next hours till morning. It was a bad food and bad service. Thai grill is better.
Thai food at it's best really like the Cryin Tiger dish much better then Lai Thai in Kirkland not even close ! J.H.G.

Best Thai on the East Side
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/06
The King and I has consistantly produced the best dishes over the last 5 years that I have been dining here. I doubt anyone can get enough of there full flavors and delicate textures. The service is always friendly and timely. A definte must try for Thai!
(I know I wasn't!) I'm always amazed at the fact that folks really line up here to eat on a Friday evening. After 5 or 6 visits, I can say that the food is less than spectular, certainly not on the level of a Noodle Boat or Lai-Thai, when it comes to providing authentic Thai cuisine.
