We've been to Seastar Restaurant in Bellevue many times - the food is great! Always consistently solid. The extensive wine list is spectacular - you won't find a wine list like this in Bellevue, WA.. The raw bar - great. We come for happy hour and drinks occasionally and it's always packed - for good reason. Seastar is great for family occasions, dates, business dining, etc. Easily the nicest restaurant on the Eastside...

unlike the NW friendliness, this place acts like a LA/NY/CHI snobbery locale. Its out of place. If you want to dress to impress (and who does in the NW ?) and step in with a big attitude, you'll get treated well at this place. i agree, this is a standard restaurant posing as a gourmet dining establishment. better seafood is had at McCormick / Schmick's (a bit noisy, but great food) or Flying Fish (great ambiance and food).

The feel and smell of the restaurant were like an old hotel and the food tasted like food we had had at any other restaurant. We left ...
My husband and I recently had dinner at the Seastar in Bellevue, WA and agreed it was one of the best meals we've ever had. We eat out a lot and we found everything about this gem of a restaurant to be outstanding. The food was excellent (seafood and steak), we enjoyed an excellent bottle of red wine from Washington State, and (though it was ...
