I just got back from Newport! I had the most wonderful time until I went into Whale's Tale. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to! Not only was the food bland but WAY over priced. This restaurant is right in Newport and should be serving fresh seafood. However, it is not!

I love the dessert that is there. It's a chocolate box with raspberry topping and a thick mousse. The prices are fine for what they offer. The food is good and it does get busy on the weekends. Parking is tough especially weekends. The place is right on the Bay front so you can walk around and shop after eating. Decor is fine a little dark but cozy. No view.

This was a great little restuarant on the Bay Front.

I will be going back for the house special dessert "mousse in the bag" a dark chocolate box filled with a very creamy mousse and topped with berries and whip cream, what a treat.
