Had dinner at Jake's 08-08-09. The service was great, but the food was less than impressive. I had King Salmon ($35) that wasn't as good as Safeway Salmon I buy in AZ.

Excellent Boullibase. I was a bit displeased in some of the oysters. Some were a overly soft and should not have been served.

Overrated tourist attraction. The food when I've eated there was ok but nothing special. The service wasn't quite as bad as typical Portland service. It tends to be busy however unwarentedly.

Jake's is far and away the best place to eat out in Portland.

The food is always the freshest possible and the atmosphere and service are top notch.

If you want seafood or just a great meal this is the place to go.

I also love Jake's grill just down the street it is the same food but more casual with a bar.
