best chicken cutlet plate anywhere. so good after a day at the zoo or beach!

I visited my daughter in July '08 and before I Visited I looked up places to eat online. Rainbow Drive-In was listed and as it wasn't too far from where my daughter lives, I decided to try it. Have been coming to Rainbows for decades. Always excellent. Chili Rice plate is wonderful. The best on Oahu. No contest and no comparison to the francised place down the street and all over the island. Worth the drive. Hard to find parking but worth the hunt. Hope they stay in business for many more years!

what an awesome place to eat. the food is good, not outrageously priced and the people are great.everyone should go to rainbow drive-in

When I was a kid i remember going to Rainbow Drive-In after a long day at the beach. My most favorite meal was the Mixed Plate with teriyaki sauce on the rice. It was awesome!! And to top it off, a coke float. Mmmm. I still go back there and have the same things, the only thing different now is that i take my children so they can make their own memories.

Then this is definitely the place to go! Massive amounts of food for super cheap- and it's yummy! I highly recommend the mixed plate.

Food was really good for a fast food joint. Definately better than the cookie cutter fast food places which are on every corner. Thanks for the recommendation.

Rainbow's has been here as far back as I can remember. The food has always been good---one of those places where you can go to at anytime and the food is still made the same way and tastes the same as it did when you last ate there, and it's inexpensive. They have the best local plate lunches. The prices are cheap and the food is delicious.
