While on vacation my husband my daughter and I went there for lunch and we ordered a cheese pizza for my daughter and tapas for us. My husband took two bites of her cheese pizza and bit into a dime size piece of glass. Everything else we ordered was great but i couldn't imagine eating anything not knowing what was in the chowder, wings, and ...

A nice breakfast buffet, but you can't beat the view of the beach while drinking your coffee.

Sooooo delish! My husband and I had the coconut shrimp and lilikoi sauce. We also had the fab salad bar...you can't go to Duke's and not have the salad bar. But, next time we'll sit outside...we waited for 40 minutes in the middle of the week, and only got an inside seat...boo hoo!

I live in downtown Honolulu and ride bikes ( to prevent DWI and parking fees) with a few friends and like to spend part a weekend afternoon or evening at Duke's at least two or three times a year, for the last 14 years! I love it. Buffet is great, music is great, bar is great, lots of people there to have fun, talk, see Hawaii ( A little like ...

Dukes is located on the beach but thats the only good thing about it..I was hit on by a sleezy old man...and the bartenders are trailer trash red necks... I recomend the shore bird or the hilton beach bar...classy ..fun and much better bartenders!

The only problem with Duke's is that it's hard to get a game on the television because everyone on the staff is so busy. It's a dogfight for a seat, too. Lovely scenery, though, if you know what I mean.

One of the most over rated restaurants in Waikiki. Food is mediocore but the view is not. It is a big time tourist trap, but hey...if you are tourist, then aloha and enjoy! :-)

The atmosphere on this restaurant's patio, right on Waikiki beach, is amazing. There were five of us and we all loved the food. The prices were less than we pay to go to a nice restaurant here at home in Vegas. The service was great. I am so glad I found this place on the internet and reserved a table on the patio at sunset. It was a view and experience I will never forget.

Duke's has a great beach atmosphere and the food is good (I didn't say great) and is inexpensive as goes most of Waikiki. The crowd is interestng and sociable, especially as the night goes on and the Mai-tais take their toll. The bar menu is limited, but tried the strip steak which was very good and only around $15. Jimmy at the bar is ...

Ok, I hate to rain on everyone's parade here, but the only thing great about Duke's is the location, which is right on Waikiki Beach. Other than that, I think the food is average at best. As a local, I don't mind touristy spots as long as they are good, but I just don't think Duke's lives up to the hype. I think you can get ...
