Da Kitchen is...not a real plate lunch place... Maui doesn't really have 'em. Ya gotta go to Honolulu...or Johnson's (not the real name of this deli in South Maui). I would...WAY recommend this place, but Viki says she don't like malahini's. It's open from 10-ish to 1-ish or when da food runs out.

The food was amazing. During my honeymoon I we went there a couple times. The food was the best "teriyaki" style food I've EVER had. The short ribs were my favorite.

This is a great place. Cheep and good. I was excited to hear that there was another location on the mainland (Mtn View,Ca). But after I got home I was sad to hear that it had closed. :( I definitely will be going back the next time I'm in Maui. Aloha
