This restaurant is a little gem in the hills next to overpriced Kohala/Kawaihae. The Kalbi is outstanding, bulgogi and kimchi are decent--it's all good Korean food with a Hawaiian touch (the rice is served in two scoops and you can order mac salad as a side) in a friendly, laid back atmosphere. The portions are large, the prices are great. This place will be a new favorite for us!

the only authentic tasting korean bbq (especially the kalbi) on the big island. bibimbap is awesome. they have a locally grown veggie called pipinola that is out of this world. it comes in the bibimbap or order it as a side dish. prices are amazing and plates are gigantic. family owned and operated. closed on sundays only.
