  • Never Again

Any appreciation of the interesting and well-prepared food was ruined by the surly and indifferent service, the bad coffee, and the out of control children at a neighboring table. They were related to the band and acted as though they were at an outdoor concert.

  • The Best Hilo Resturant
    By diegorob, 01/23/07
This is my honest opinion. Kaikado is the best resturant in Hilo and Possibly the entire Big Island. • Not good
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 02/21/06
The Presentation of the $45- Fish for 2 was beautiful. There was a huge head and a tail, but no meat on the fish! It was as if the fish had been trimmed and served to someone else. This has been our favorite restaurant in Hilo for many years. We understand the ownership has changed recently. Great wines, but we left very disappointed.

Quite busy. Open later than most!! Some dishes accent what is available locally. Had some lovely local catch and great mushroom saute. It has been a ...
