i don't have very high standards, but you must believe me on this...terrible service and fish hamachi was not fresh..it was brown!

BY FAR THE BEST SUSHI IN TAHOE! After a long day on Heavenly the locals we met made the recommendation and we were not disappointed. Friendly, casual, fresh fish, a little SMALL but worth it.

What a dump. More like all you can eat rice! Can't even have seaweed salad, and yes, the owner does reprimand you for leaving rice, but as their rolls are 95% rice it's hard not to, do NOT go here, the locals are lying!

This is the best Sushi to be had literally in Northern Calif. By far and away the best at the Lake. Service was great, the guys behind the counter smile and make you special treats, prices are very fair. Fish is superb, we've eaten at SATO maybe 20x and had most of the menu, teriyaki boat is good, all you can eat sushi is fresh and good.

Great food and a great deal! The all you can eat is only around $22 and they give a 10% discount to locals. This is my favorite sushi in Tahoe!

There were only two waiters on a saturday night. It took 20 mins for them to take our order and 30 mins more to receive it! The table was not clean and everytime we asked the waiter for our hot tea he just nodded his head and said OK, OK.

Good people and cheap food. Small cuts of decent quality fish on large portions of low quality rice.
