Wow! What a place to relax and have breakfast. The views over the bay are indyllic. The food is delicious and presented fabulously. I ordered their fruit plate and it was stunning! The coffee was good and the people were friendly. This place is a "must stop" if you are traveling to the big island. Would be a great stop for breakfast as you head to the volcanoes from Kona....(Grab some chocolate chip cookies for the road!)
Imagine sitting out on a country porch looking down at a wonderful jungle directly beside then below then dropping 1000 feet down to a tropical ocean, with a tropical sky. Then add good food and company.
We ate there twice on our recent trip to Hawaii - for lunch both times. First, the place is small, and not fancy, very laid back in fact. And their dining area is on a back patio with a spectacular view of the bay about 1000 feet below.
