Happy Day seems great one day and so-so the next. I have had fresh tasting food one day and then sometimes it tastes as though they are using left-overs the next. Years ago, it was consistant, but now it's hit or miss. I have given up and seem to like the consistancy of Asian Garden, down the Skyway.

I moved here from the Bay Area where there are a load of good Chinese restaurants. This place ranks with the best. The ONLY drawback is the Hot and Sour soup, which is my main gauge for a good Chinese place. I live in Magalia, and was here for two years before I even knew about this place. Their food is fantastic. I'm from Los Angeles, and have eaten at a variety of Chinese establishments and Happy Day is excellent. My favorite is the walnut chicken. Their soup is great, as is the chow mein, fried rice, and eggrolls. I've never had a bad meal ...

This is my favorite place for Chinese on the Ridge. Their Mu Shu is fantastic. They also do vegetables well and if you need take out, they are exceptionally fast.

Great food... the service left a lot to be desired. We suually just get take out for that reason

The food taste was ok....I loved the soup....But there is too much fat in their dishes...Tried Walnut Chicken...loved the idea...but the chicken was deep fried and the sauce tasted like mayonaise....perhaps other dishes would be better...may return to give them another chance....
