    Not sure why the last customer review was so caustic, but I/we really like this cafe. Been there a few times. The food is definitely not processed or "out of a can" and the service is excellent. I generally go for breakfast, which is generous and terrific.

    The food here is pretty bad -- tastes like processed food coming right out of some industrial packaging or out of a can. Avoid by all means the chips and cheese side when ordering a sandwich. The service was poor.

    As a frequent customer of this fine establishment I can say the food is great and the service even better. It is a true gem for breakfast or lunch. Service is always with a smile and the cost is Plumas County average. Music is good and no too loud. The waitress are dressed (more than I can say about some of it's competitors). Your never a stranger at Courthouse Cafe.
