The food is greasy and old, service is substandard, and prices are high. We now eat First Choice at 21st and N Street. The rude hostess kept us waiting for 15 minutes before addressing us.

Without fail, one of the best local joints in Sacramento! The food is always top quality and the service is prompt (never more than 20 minutes or so for an order to be delivered). You WILL be a repeat customer after trying this place out!

I love Shanghai Garden! The food is delicious, the staff is kind, and it's a cute little place. They also have an EXTENSIVE vegetarian menu! A+++

I heart Shang Hai Garden
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/06
This place has the best Chinese food in Sacramento. A colleague and I held a honey walnut shrimp-off. Shang Hai won over its "fat" competitor based on taste and price. Shang Hai Garden is just fabulous.
