Hadn't been to the Tower Cafe in over 15 years. My wife and I stopped for a late lunch and enjoyed some of the best tasting food, ever! I, the chinese chicken salad, my wife, the curried chicken sandwich. I told the waiter this was the best tasting salad I think I'd ever had. We don't live in Sacramento, so we only eat there en route to ...

Not Impressed! Waited in the rain for a good 40 minutes, which I normally would not mind, but the food and service were awful! Their famous french toast had a pudding consistency in the middle...asked our waiter he said that was normal- right? Eggs Benedict with crab cakes- cold, dry, and very undercooked eggs. Last time a checked a cooked egg ...

I make a mean baked french toast but was completely humbled by the delicious, nearly creme brulee-esque version at the Tower. So amazing. Truly worth the wait on a Sunday morning..
Tower Café is an eclectic restaurant that serves delectable international eats. Their ever-changing creative dessert menu what keeps me coming back. The ambience puts you in a mind frame of sampling fascinating exotic decor from around the world. *First Date Tip: I recommend sitting outdoors in the summertime, the landscape provides beauty and privacy.
Nothing beats the Blue Corn Pancakes at Tower Cafe! Go there during the holidays to people watch--you will believe again in kindness, generosity, friends, and family. It's noisy, crowded, eclectic, diverse. The only teentsy-weentsy criticism is that ocassionally you may have to put up with slow wait-service.

Good Food and Nice Views at Tower Cafe
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/07
There can be a wait at the Tower Cafe, but it is worth it. The menu has a variety of sandwiches, brunch-type food, and a number of specialties. I've frequented the restaurant only during the morning hours and have been delighted at the quality of their breakfasts. The prices are quite reasonable.

I really like this Place. The Amdiance is Beautiful. Set Right out side of What i consider one of the most beautiful areas of Sacramento The midtown area. It kinda reminds me os some of the places I been to in the bay area, alot of Greenery ,almost always crowded but pleasent. The Food way Good also But a bit Pricey. Not too Much But it was worth it to me. The service was wonderful. I would recommend this place .

Great Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/06
I love it because it's so different and the food is great!
We come to here as a treat. This place is one of the most colorful for both atmosphere and the people. The food is definitely one of the main attractions here. The menu though, it seems limited is a variety of tastes. Check out the specials on the board at the entrance. The standard fare is great from jazzed up fish and chips to the Texan skirt ...
